It. Briggs sug gests that Uconeo ought to have a county fair. And she ought to have. There is not a county in South Caro Una that is better prepared to hold an annual fair than Oco;?ee. She lias the products to prepare and exhibit - agricultural products, manufac tured products. livestock, fruits, vegetables-everything that grows, and hundreds of things that are man ufactured or made in the homes and on the farms of our county. ?Mr. Briggs* suggestion is a good one, and his query "Which Town?" ls a pertinent one. '.Which town?" asks Mr. Briggs, "will work for the fair?" Every town In Oconeo ought to work for it. Every town cannot get it, but tho ono that Is ready to do and will do the most toward making an Oconeo fair a succoss ought to get the fair-and then all the others ought to pitch right in and help the ono that gets it. 'Walhalla ought to have the fair. Wo can get lt if wo will go a ter lt. .But it is going to take some money, Rome effort, concerted action and a hard pull. A fair ls something that Oconeo really needs-not a little side show with a few products carelessly dumped about the grounds, but a real county fair, gotten up on real exhibition principles, carried out as a real fair, and to bo made worth while. Will we push and pull for an Oco neo county fair, or pass it up with out effort? If Ceo. it. Brigg* ;;oes after a fair for Oconeo, our county is more than apt to have a fair-and one worth while. Walhalla ought lo have the fair. Wc cnn have ii if we will. The question is largely ono for our own answering. AOUICULTUUAL LEADERS GIVEN Recognition l>\ Clemson-.Mr. Good and .Mc. Drake Arc Honored.
