'Ho has many friends boro and elsewhere who will be glad to learn of his ap pointment. -On Friday, April 7th, the death angel entered tho homo of Chas. W. Roach and bore away tho spirit of his wife. Sho had been, confined to her bed since Fob. 4th, and died on April 7th at 12 o'clock. Mrs. Itoach was before marriage Miss Datha Mc Call, a daughter of tho lato J. J. Mc Call, oMtabun county, Georgia. Sho was bora in Macon county, North Carolina, Jan. 3. ISSI, and was 3S years Of age. She was happily mar ried to C. W. Roach on March I Uh, 1!H)7. She leaves her husband and six children to mourn her taking away. She was a devout Christian, and a member of Double Springs Baptist church. She had lived a good life and was ready to go home.
