Hradbury Dead. (Hartwell, Ca., Sun.) .las. H. Hradbury died at bis home here last Tuesday night, November 2 5, afler au Illness of several months. Ho recently went to Atlanta for treatment, but not getting any bet ter returned home about th roo weeks ago, gradually becoming weaker from day to day. Although a suf ferer for the past several years, even his family did not realize Hie con dition of his health, and his death conies as a shock to many relatives and friends. Mr. Hradbury was vory active In business and was a success in this Held, being actively engaged until only a few weeks back. Ho was a member of tho city board of educa tion, and was always interested in the affairs of tho town and county. Surviving are his wife and one daughter, .Miss Inez Hradbury, three sons. Fred, .lames.and St. Clair Hrad bury, and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Ma rett, of Town ville, S. C., and Mrs. .1. T. Holeman, of Reed Creek, this county. Washington, Nov. 26.-Humper world crops of 'corn, potatoes, har ley, rye. sugar beets and rough rico for this year are shown in estimates compiled by the International Insti tute of Agriculture at Rome, made public to-day by the Department of Agriculture. Tho production of wheat, oats and flax seed, however, shows a decrease from tho average for tho Ave years ended in 1017. Wheat production in 14 countries, excepting tho ('entrai powers, will reach 2,040,509,000 bushels, 06.5 per cont of tho live year average. Corn will amount to 3,126,194,000, 14.8 por cent greater than the crop produced last year and 4.1 per cent greater than that produced for tho last live years. Other crops, tho De partment cablegram shows, are esti mated as follows: Rye. I 69,4 1 4,000 bushels, 12.4 p r cont, live year average. Oats, 2.085,786,000 bushels, i?0.3 per cent.
