Anthony amendment in tho Senate last Monday, and feel that hy 'this action their work and many sacri fices, to a great extent, have gone unheeded and unappreciated by the majority of tho men of this great country. Without the help of the women this war could not have been von as it has hoon. We have given cur sons, daughters, time, money in fact, our all-unstintedly in this great struggle for democracy, and as a slight acknowledgment of our services wo modestly requested our men to strike from our wrists the shackles of political slavery, to lift os out of the class of the criminal, the idiot and the insane, and endow us with the same rights and priv ileges that they enjoy. Are tho American men who went to war to make the world safe for democracy going to acknowlodge that their women are inferior to the countries of our Allies; or that they are try ing to force something on some one else that they aro not willing to put into practice themselves?
