IF YOU AUK AN ALIEN ENEMY, Well to Noto Regulations Regarding Any Chango of Residence. Tke U. S. Marshal at Greenville sends The Courier the following facts with tho request to publish: "1. Any alien enemy who shall change his place of rosidonco to ano ther place of residence within the same registration district shall im mediately report such change to tho rogistration officer o? such registra tion district, and shall present to such registration olllcer his registra tion card, for the purpose of having indorsed thereon by such registration officer tho change of residence. The registration officer shall immediate ly give notice, upon a form to bc furnished for that purpose, of such change of resldenco to tho Depart ment Of Justice, to the United States marshal for that judicial district, and to his chief registrar. ".2. No allen enemy shall change his place of residence to a place of residence within another registration district without a permit. Applica tion for such permit must be made by the allen enemy to the registra tion officer of the registration 'dis trict in which the alien enemy then resides. The application must be made in four copies upon, a form to bo furnished for that purpose, on which form such allen enemy must state full particulars as to the date on which his residence ls to be changed, as to tho reason for such change, and as to bis Intended place of residence. The registration offi cer to whom such application for change of residence is made shall, If no reason against the granting of such permit be manifest to him, in dorse such permit upon the registra tion card of the alien enemy, which must be presented by the latter to tho registration officer for that pur pose. The registration officer shall immediately fill In the form of no tice of'permit of such change of resi dence attached to each application, and shall forward ono of tho appli quions with the notice of such per mit, properly filled in by him, to his chief registrar; tho second to the United States marshal for that judi cial district; and the third to tho Department of Justice. He shall re tain the fourth application form. The registration officer shall notify tho alien enemy to whom permission is given to chango his place of resi dence hom ono registration district to another that such allen enemy must forthwith report his arrival in tho registration district into which he moves to the registration officer ol' that district and exhibit to him his registration card with permit of change of residence indorsed there on; and such alien enemy is hereby required so to report. "3. If the registration officer to whom application for permit ot change of residence is made under tho next preceding paragraph shall find sufficient cause against the granting of such permit- his decision shall be final unless the alien enemy shall demand that the application be forwarded to the United States mar shal in his judicial district for fina! action. If such demand be made the registration officer shall forward the application for such permit of chango of res'dence, with the report of his reasons for not granting same, to the United States marshal in his ju dicial district for final action. If such marshal shall decide that the permit should be granted, he shall return the application to the regis tration officer with instructions to grant the permit, and the registra tion officer shall proceed with such application and notice of such per mit in the manner set forth in the preceding paragraph. If no such de mand is made, the registration offi cer shall within a reasonable time forward tho application, with a brief statement of his reasons for the de nial thereof and with a statement that the allon enemy has not de manded further action thereon, to the United States marshal in his ju dicial district for purposes of rec ord."
