He it Ordained by the Mayor and Aldermen of the Town of Walhalla, ill Council assembled and by author ity of the same: Section I. That a tax of seventy cents on each one hundred dollars of the assessed value ol' all real and per sonal property be levied for ordinary town purposes to defray current ex penses during the fiscal year com mencing the 1st day of January, 1017. Section 2. That a tax of fifteen cents on each one hundred dollars of the assessed value of all real and per sonal property be levied for the pur pose of paying the interest on. and creating a sinking lund for the re tirement of, railroad bonds. Section 7. That any person, or per sons, having claims against the town must present them within sixty days I have ten fingers and ten toes. I can count that much, but I just can't count all my good friends down South here-they are far too many. And Tm mighty proud of them. The men who make me, say you can tell real quality by the com pany one keeps. Blood will tell. A good name and good breeding count most of all. And that same, I reckon, applies to cigarettes, too.
