John Franklin Graham, a promi nent citizen of Oconee, died at his home in the Cross Hoads section on Saturday, November 13, of dropsy. Mr. Graham was well known in the | lower part of the county, and his many friends are sorry to learn of his death. He was <>:* years old and leaves a large family. Six sons sur vive, ono of whom is Rev. J. G. Cia- ' ham, the Baptist minister, who re- , sides in North Carolina. The de ceased was a member of ? Miter M. 10. church, and his body wes interred there Saturday afternoon. Oconee Teachers' Association. The first meeting of the Oconee Teachers' Association will be held in the auditorium of the Walhalla nigh School on Saturday, November 20th, at ll a. 111.
