This afternoon will bring Ibo vis ttors to Walhalla from the lower pan ?t tin- S'a'o. and there will be many 'reunions" of ramilles which have long intimately connected Walhalla Kith Charleston and Columbia and other points in the lower pan of the State. The yearly recurrence of Hie "Mountain Excursi?n" brings many pleasures t<> thc people herc, who are thus afforded an opportunity to meet with old friends and former neigh bors from down-State, and the pleas are is by no menas confined to our uwn people, judging from the ex pression.-- that are yearly made of the pleasures of the holidays spent in ?hese parts. The trains to-day, if indications prove to be correct, will bring in more than the usual number for the nid-su m mer outing at this point. They will be heartily welcomed by "their friends here, and we trust that the staj this year will be the means of more pleasure and more benefit to our friends from the lower part of the State than ever. Walhalla would "be delighted to see a more liberal "out-pouring" of the people of the lower part of the Slate for a summer outing than in recent years. Seven people, it is reported, want ad the post mastership at Cordele, <da. Modest people, those Georgians. There were about seventy times seven wanted tho Walhalla postmas lerehip.
