Just so long as we know that the ""good people ol' Richland" believe and know that this writer has never said or hinted anything that would reflect upon them as citizens of the very highest type, it makes little dif ference to us what the young scribe from that place may advance as bis Opinion to the contrary. Opinions never affect the truth. Tho ugly and unwarranted attack made on tho Seneca athletic team last fall by the young scribe for not entering a relay 1 race when tho mercury was hover ing around zero, and tho mild re joinder by this correspondent, have brought on tho little controversy which has run good-naturedly through several weeks. As It is no longer interesting to tho general pub lic, we close with this: Anybody In terested enough to r< ad tho flies ..on j taining tho little controversy from I Its Incipiency will understand tho real truth ol' tho affair "though he be a wayfaring man."
