Nashville, Tenn., Dec. 8.-This af ternoon Frank Click, a machinist, 2 5 years of age, shot his wife, Mrs. Ruth Click, three times, one bullet pierc ing her heart, killing her instantly. He then shot himself through the hoad, and Hes dying at the city hos pital. The tragedy occurred on Bil bo avenue, In the home of a negress, where Mrs Click had taken refuge, tho murdered woman falling across a bed In the room. . A portion of Click's brains wore scattered upon the floor where he fell. Domestic troubles are assigned as the cause. Mrs. Click was an unusually hand some woman, about 23 years old, and hnd been divorced from a former husband. She and Click were mar ried last. July, and wont to Memphis to live. She returned to Nashville some two weeks ago, going to the homo of her father, W. N. Blblo, a wealthy real estate owner. Click re turned last night, and at his request Mrs. Click met him this afternoon on Bilbo avenue, near the scene Of the killing. After a brief conversa tion with him she suddenly ran, with Click pursuing her. Her flight ended in ibo rear room of tho dwelling of Sallie Hughes, colored, and there, with no witnesses, the shooting oc curred. Negro Kills Georgia Policeman? Midvllle, Ga., Dec. 8.-Town Mar shal Brlnson was killed by a negro hore this afternoon. Tho negro kill ed tho marshal without any provoca tion. Tho negro, with others of his race was on the street, and was mak ing a disturbance. The marshal told tho negro ho must be quiet, and or dered him to appear In the city court to-morrow morning. As the officer was turning away the negro pulled a pistol, thrust tho weapon against the officer's body, and fired three times. Tho officer fell to tho sidewalk and died almost Instantly. Tho negro ran to a swamp and mado his escape. A posse, ls In pursuit, and If captured he will probably bo lynched. Cv:ived Negro Shot Seven People. Augusta. Ark., Dec. 6.-Crazed by cocaine, Wash Mussay, a negro, ran amuck hero early to-day, shooting seven white persons, two of whom were women. Tho negro was flnnlly corralled in tho court hOUSe yard nnl shot to death by a posse, fighting until ho fell, literally riddled with bullets. One of Mussay's victims will die.
