Long, of Tugaloo, boarded the train at Westminster yesterday for Greenville, where ho will make his home temporarily. Loug will sell his fine plantation on Tugaloo and move to Greenville-his old home. Westminster, July 2.-Keowee Courier: We would like to drop only a few dots with reference to the union meeting which was held on last Saturday and Suuday with Conneross ohurch. The meeting was not as fully attended by the delegates from the different churches as the brethren would have been glad to have had, but we were glad to have as many as were there with us. Although the attendance was not so large, interest was not wanting among those present. The zeal and enthusiasm of the several speakers was manifest in all the discussions. There being no union in the lower di vision, we had several brethren of that territory with us. Among tho ministers we bad with us were Revs. C. S. Blackburn, John R. Moore, A. P. Marett, C. L. Craig, J. H. Stone and others. A joint meeting of the Upper and Lower Divisons will be held with the Westminster Baptist church in Septem ber. The program will be given later. A. N.
