Death ot Eddie Tolllwn. New Hope, Deo. 2*.- After a H?gering Minees of typhoid fever, Eddie, eldest son of Mr. and Mr?. Jeff. D. Tollison, died last Friday afternoon. He bad been a Bufferer for several months, and was thought to be ounvalesoent and out of danger until last Friday, when be grew worse, and at 1 p. m. passed to bis re ward. He bore but sufferings gently and said he was ready to go. He was in his 22d year. When 16 years of age he united with the New Hope Baptist ohuroh, and was a devoted member until his death. He was a true Christian and a faithful worker in the Master's oauee. His many kind deeds and pleasant words and smiles shall never be forgotten by those who knew bim, for to know bim was to love him, and he numbered bis friends by the soo re. Hil Christian life is to be judged by his faithfulness and interest he took In the New Hope Sunday sohool. He will be sadly missed by every Sunday sohool scholar, and especially by his class of young boya and girls, of whloh he was a regular and loving teaeher. His noble, true Christian life should be an example for other* to fol low, as the many spiritual impressions made by him shall never be forgotten. In the pr?senos of a large and sorrowing concourse of friends, funeral services were conducted at New Hope Sunday morning at ll o'clock by Rev. A. P. Marett. The servioes w*ro comforting to the bereaved family. The text was: "Bo ye also ready." The beautiful hymns, "Resting in the Saviour's Love" and "Nearer my God to Thee," wbiob wore sung, were favorites of the de ceased. His remains were laid to rest in New Hope comet erv. His death ls not only sad to his loved ones, but the whole community is grieved. He leaves a dear father and mother, three kind and lov ing sisters, and four affectionate broth ers to mourn the loss of an obedient son, and a loving brother. The bereaved family have the doepest sympathies of the entire community in their hour of sor row. . Friend. -. ?. When to Go Home. From the Blufftou (Ind.) Banner: "When tired out, go home. When you want consolation, go home. When you want fun, go home. When you want to show others that you have reformed, go borne and let your family get acquainted with tho fact. When you want to show yourself at your best, go home and do the aot there. When you fool like hoing extra liberal, go home and practice on your wife and children first. When you want to shine with extra brilliancy, go borne and light up the whole household." To whioh wo would add, when you have a bad oold, go homo and take Chamber lain's Cough Remedy and a quick cure is certain. For salo by J. W. Bell, Wal halla; W. J. Lunney, Seneca.
