Sho was an old resident and ono of tho Gorman colony that settled Wal halla. Having confessed her sins and receiving tho holy communions she died peacefully, having boen a life long mem ber of tho Lutheran church. Her romains wore laid to rest in tho cemetery after funeral services in the Lutheran church, conducted by Bov. H. C. Grossman on Saturday. Tho deceased is survived by only ono child, Wm. D. Neville, which occurred in Atlanta last Monday. It was a shock to relatives ul friend* hore, as her death was cry sudden and totally unexpected. While she had boen unwell for about two weeks, yet she waa not considered in a dangerous condition. Ellison and son, of Seneca, spent last Thursday afternoon in Walhalla with relatives and friends. -News reached Walhalla last Thurs day of the death of John Suttles, of At lanta. Mr. Suttles was well known to mauy in and around Walhalla, he having beeu born near here, at the old Suttles homestead, abuut two miles above town. He had been in the railroad service for a number of years, and was filling the posi tion of engineer at the time of bis death. He was killed at Macon, Ga., in an acci dent oauBcd by the c arturuing of his engine. He was 34 years of age. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Suttles, now reside in Atlanta. The remains wero takeu to Toccoa for interment by the side of his brother, Edward, who died (?orno twelve years ago.
