Nogro Killing in Anderson County. Sam Princo, a negro living in tho lower part of Anderson county, was lodged in jail Sunday charged with tho murder of Arthur Latimer on Friday afternoon noar Starr. It is not vory cloar just how tho killing occurred, but Princo alleges that it was done in self defense. He says that Latimor drow a pistol eu him and throatoned his lifo, though thoro had boon no previous quarrol botweon them. Va., November ll.-A cheer for Jefferson Davis, uttered by a (blinken man on tho Beaver Crook Ken tucky side yesterday resulted in a tragedy in which three mon were killed and three others injured. Several mon had been drinking to gether, when Con Ksteph, au old Con federate veteran among thom, yelled, "Hurrah for Jeff Davis." Chas. Prator, a young, man in the crowd told Ksteph to shut up or he would kill him. Enoch Bentley then told old man Ksteph to hurrah for any ono ho wanted to. At this juncturo Prater turned upon Bontloy and emptied his pistol at short rango, all five shots taking effect. After ho had fallen Bentley shot and killed Prater. Bubo Morgan, a frieud of Prater, who had shot Bentley, after the latter had fallon, fired at Tom and John Bowling, friends of Ksteph, and flod, but he was shot and mortally wounded by tho Bowlings. Bentley died soon after shooting. Morgan died two hours later.
