KILBURN. rnf his gentleman who lins boon $\ck and confined to Iiis bed at Piedmont for tho past fivo months or moro from Bright's disoaso of the kidnoys, culminating in dropsy, died at his homo on Monday last, 18th instant, at 2 o'clock. Mr. Kilburn carno to South Carolina in 1859 from tho State bf Iowa. He was a nativo of Mai ho? Ho wont oft* as ono of tho original members of tho Butler Guaras to Virginia, and served his company os commissary until re-organiza tion, after which ho was detailed to colloct supplies for tho army, in which position ho remained until tho closo o? the war. Ile was a member of both tho Ma sonic and Odd Fellows Lodges in good standing. Ho was about 64 years of ago. Ho married in . tho Stato of New York, Miss Mary E. Ferry, sister of Messrs. William and James Perry of this A'tato. lie leaves a wile and one child, the lat tor the wife of Mr. Oliver Haynes of this city. His remains wore buried at Spring wood Cemetery on yesterday.
