Thus nature wiih lier own baud has fashioned a lasting dam or wall 'of solid granite five feet high with a base 2G feet wide, resting on a mountain of rock, leaving only about 26 feet for human hands to treat. 2d. Tho water can bo easily taken out on tho Kast sido and conveyed in a raco-wuy dircct'y to a desirable building site only 176 yards (rom ' Mic dam. 3d.
