With tho view of encouraging manufacto ries among us, wo visited tho machinery of Novillo & Holloman, two milos nbovo Wal halla, last Saturday. This finn has in opera? lion a corn mill, saw mill, grist mill, planing mill, cotton gin, turning lat lie and first class wool cards in a building thirty by sixty foot, tinco stories high. Tho machinery is nearly now and is turned by a twonty foot ovorshot wheel.
