Tho following is tho inodo of cultivations it was thoroughly broken up 12 inches doep, and laid off in rows 3J feet wide, and tho Fertilizer applied in tho drill, then bedded on it on tho 15th of May. and planted tho 1st of Juno, First working it was run around with a half shovol and partial ly trinimod out with a boo. Second working it was run around with u 3 inch grub, 12 inches long, und tho middles thrown out with n swoop 18 inches wido. Ono furrow to a row and I thinned to a stand with a boo about 12 inches betweon tho stocks, and afterwards it was ploughed cvo?y. two wcoks with n sweep 18 inches wido, and hoed ouch time, until it was workod five times.
