TMK GEORGIA STATIS ROAD OUT OF DKIIT. -Wo understand that this road is now in funds, and will remit, during the present week, the full balance due tho Govcrumcut, amounting to about 8400,000. This will place thc road clear of debt, so that its future earninys can go to replcuish the Treasury of the State. This is, perhaps, the only important railway in tho South that bas been able to liqu?dalo tho full amount of its obligations to the Government ; and when wc consider this important fact, in connection With thc additional fact, that the road is now in better condition, and basa better supply of rolling stock than almost any other road South of the Potomac, it isnoordinary commendation of its oilicicnt management. When Major Wallaco was appointed Superintendent of this road, bc found it in a very indifferent condi tion, most ol* tho bridges were temporary and unsafe affairs, tho rolling stock was scant, and of an indifferent quality and tho road was greatly in debt to the Government. Now, it is in superior condition, well supplied with stock, and is out of debt. No higher com mendation could bc pronounced in favor of thc abiiity and efficiency of that officer.
