A Pleasant Trip A short' visit to tho Tunnel, a ' intermediate points, has been attended ? i'h pleasing incidents. We were informed that tho new road, diverging to the left opposite Col. Uhisii.sm's residence, has been put in first rate order, and intersects the main highway near Dr. .Johnson's handsome place. A Dastardly Act* We learn that a white man, named Boi.t, attempted to obstruct the passage of the cars on tho !ilue Ridge Railroad, three miles this side of Anderson, on Monday morning last, by building a rail feucc across the track.? Fortunately, the cars wore not thrown from the track, owing probably to the fact that the obstruction was removed partly by the 1?ody of the hindmost car before the wheels j reached it.
