ABANDONING HER COLONIES.?It would appear by the annexed extract from a letter from Jamaica, that Great Britain intends to abandon her West India colonies. "The Southampton steamer arrived here a few days ago, and her news is pregnant with evil, throwing all the inhabitants of the British West India Islands into glocm uml despair, notwithstanding the inisfortunes of the present dav. "The Governor of this Island (Sir Charles E.
