S.'Commissionel Stoeber, of Columbia. The warrant were issued upon thiaffidavit of -H,T Williams, otherwise- known as "Doc tor" Williams, a big black negro, whi is said to be a native of England, an( who bad been appointed a Supervisoi of Election at the Pcmaria Precinct The parties are charged with "intimi dation". The '.intimidation" consist in their arresting him the night befor election day on a warrnt charging hin with obtaining money under false pre tences. Willams was indicted for thi, offense at the late Court of Sessions and a true bill wasfound against him Messrs. Aull and Hipp have been re leased on bond4 appear before the U S. Court. Col. Thos./W. Holloway was arrest ed Friday while attending to his dutie as Secretary of the State Agricultura Society upon a warrant issued by tho same Commissioner; upon the affidavi of "Doetor" Williams, the-charge being "intimidation". A colored man at the Dead'Fall Box, on election day, voted his tax receipt. Seeing his mistake he wanted to vote again, but, of course, was not permitted to do so. He then begged the Managers to preserve his tax receipt. Gilbert Coleman, colored, died Fri day, the 12th instant, of paralysis. He was stricken with paralysis early in the morning while sweeping out Mr. Fant's law office; was taken home, and died in the afternoon. Gilbert was the body servant of Col. James D. Nance in the late war, and was with him when2 he was killed. For several years past be has attended to the Bank and most of the lawyers' offices.
