BALE OF COTTON TO Tit
ACRE.
I now propose to tell you how
made a bale of cotton on one ac
of poor land last year; and how
saw one ploughing affect a piece
cotton. The one which I nade
hale of cotton (4-51 lbs.) was po
land when I commenced it. T
manure used was 40 bushels cottc
seed and 200 lbs. Oglethorpe ft
