To the Editor of The Dispatch: -: I thought I would write yon a lettex to inform year readers of some of the progress of Florida. Everything is on a boom down here. Tomatoes are being shipped in car lots. Watermelons are beginning to move by the car loads. The prices received for vegetables are good. The corn crops are looking good. The indications now seem that there will be a large yield. Farmers never think of fertilizing their corn and harvest from 10 to 5C barrels per acre. X think that i9 good enough. I noticed that one of your correspondents stated that money was getting search since Woodrow Wilson haa heftn nrpsidont. That is not the case down here. Money is plentiful and there is lots of work going on. Sumter county is erecting a fine court house and jail at JBushnel, the new county seat. Wiidwood has about eight stores, a crate and veneering mill, an ice factory, a bank, a Newspaper, good hotel accommodation, while ten passenger trains pass our town daily. Stock ha3 the liberty of the woods and there are good ranches here. What more do we need? Rev. W. B. Jenkins and family, of South Carolina, are located at Wiidwood and doing good work for the Master's Kingdom. There was some talk of the Florida legislature passing a law prohibiting young men under 21 and young ladies under 18 years from marrying.
