May 29.?Supplementing the active campaign it is carrying on for the promotion of the live stock industry in the South, the Southern Railway Company has issued a booklet containing much valuable information on the selection and raising of horses, mules, cattle, sheep and hogs, which will be distributed among the farmers of the South. This booklet was prepared by F. L. Word, live stock agent of the Southern Railway with headquarters in Atlanta who for the past year has been endeavoring to interest farmers all over the South in raising more live stock. County and state fairs and live stock associations are suggested as good mean9 for creating rivalry among farmers of different counties and allowing them splendid opportunity to see and study the be9t types ana breeds. Mr. Word will gladly assist any farmer living along the lines of the Southern Railway in improving the character and increasing the production of domestic animals on the farm, his services being without charge. The booklet will be sent to anyone addressing him. There is no real need of anyone being troubled with constipation.
