Lever, of the Seventh South Carolina District, wlu I j is ranking member of the House committee on agriculture secured during the debate on the legislative, executive and judicial appropriation bill th<= adoption increasing the appropriation for the investigation of rural education, industrial education and school hygene from 16,000, carried by the bill, to $15,000. The appropriation is fr? onahlfi fViA hnrflftn nf edncation to employ additional experts in rural education, etc., which Mr. Lever, in a speech in support of his amendment, declared to be matters of prime and vital importance to the country. Body Found In Woods. John Moore, white, was found dead in the woods near Seneca on Thursday, having been shot in the mouth. The badly decomposed body indicated that death had occurred about ten days before vultures led to the gruesome discovery. The coroner's jury was unable to determine whether Moore's death was due to suicide or murder. Moore formerly lived at Walhalla, where he was married, later separating from his wife and moving to Oakway, in Oconee county. This is Political Year. Orangeburg Times and Democrat.
