Protracted meetings, fodder pullings and summer showers have formed the program for the past month, and cotton picking will keep many busy nut 1 November. The Farmers Telephone company have connected their lines and the service is excellent. Tne meetings held at New Hope and Sandy Ran churches recently weie largely attended and much good was accomplished, we trust. N We are sorry to hear of the illness cf our friend, Joel I. Harsey.
