He takes the Charleston ro&d for instance, and mentions a place in the road that has not been worked in two years. The road that passes through my place and in front of my house has not been worked in ten years or more, notwithstanding in winter it gets at times almost impassable. Another place tbst is bad and very rarely worked, is about onehalf mile from the Calhoun line called "Flaggy Branch." Now, Mr. Editor, there has been a good deal said against the annexation of this part of Lexington oonnty to Richland, mostly citing high taxes, but if Richland oounty will give ns good roads and help ns free onreelvee of that intolerable burden of paying toll to cross Columbia bridge, we are willing to pay the tax. Some tin e ago it was said in yoor paper that onr road was one of the worst in the county, that aught to be the reason for giving it more attention, and instead it is the most neglected.
