G The county convention will meet on next Monday, after which time it is thought that the political pot will be* it gin to simmer. Up to the present, ^ however, there are bat few prospeo- q tive candidates. This is dne largely ci no donbt to the fact that there are but few offices to be filled. Clerk of the Court Frank W. Shealy has two more se year; Sheriff P. H. Corley likewise ai has two more years; County Superin- ^ tendent of Eduoation Martin will not q have to run this summer, and Super- re visor Langford has two more years. State Senator Orosson will holdover for another two years, but the in members of the House will have to be e$ elected. So far it is not known if & either of the present representatives will stand for another term, no defl- ju nite announcements having been _ made.
