' Columbia, Feb. 24.?Walter Savarance, of Darlington County, committed suicide this morning at the State Hospital for the Insane. Mr. Savarance was a youDg man about 20 year9 of age. Ho has made several attempts to kill himself, and a strict surveillance has been kept over ..him, but, as often happens in such cases, he managed to snatch a razor and cut his throat.
