' - "Bob" Smith Captured. "Bob" Smith, a negro, wanted in ; Saluda county for alleged breach of trust, was captured by Sheriff Corlev -at the rock quarry last week. Deputy Sheriff Wise, of Saluda county, came for Smith on Saturday and he is now "peeping through the bars" of the Saluda jail. Sir. Wingard Eas Resigned. Mr. E. L. Wingard who has been the popular carrier on route 1, has resigned. Mr. Wingard's health has not been good for a long time and this, with his candidacy for county treasurer, makes it impossible for him to carry the mail. Mrs. Keisler was one of the oldest -residents of this county and had a large circle of relatives and friends who will learn of her death with sin^ cere sorrow. Irene vs. Oak Grove.
