Deafness Cannot Be Cured
by local applications, as they cannot
reach the diseased portion of the ear.
There is only one way to cure deafness,
and that is by constitutional remedies.
Deafness is caused by an inflamed condition
of the mucous lining of the Eustachian
Tube. When this tube is inflamed
you have a rumbling sound or
imperfect hearing, and when it is entirely
closed, Deafness is the result, and
unless the inflammation can be taken
out and this tube restored to its normal

A Serious Condition.
The farmers are confronted by a
serious condition. The mill men
claim that there is a great surplus of
manufactured goods on hand in their
warehouses, in spite of the contention
that there is a shortage in last
year's cotton crop of over two million
bales and that they are losing money
every day they run. The farmers
claim that cotton cannot be grown
with profit for less than ten cents the
pound. For once the law of supply
and demand seems to be exploded.
The farmers are their own advisers,
but this state of affairs is unnatural
and unwarranted in an era of great
prosperity, and the consequences will
be disastrous to the agricultural interests
unless the farms are made
self-sustaining and independent of
panics and speculators.?Newberry

The trouble was over a family matter.
A great many people imagine they
have heart trouble when the fact is
that the whole trouble lies in the stomach.
The pains in the side around the
region of the heart are not necessarily
heart trouble. We suggest that you
start with the stomach and whenever
you feel a dexpression after eating or
whenever your food seems to nauseate
take Kodol. It will not be very long
untilallthe.se "heart pains" will disappear.
Take Kodol now and until you
know you are right again. There isn't
any doubt about what it will do and
you will find the truth of this statement
verified after you have used Kodol
for a few weeks. It is sold here by
