Some parents rush off and buy a child a pair of cheap shoes because the child wears out shoes fast. What stupendous folly!! Good shoes- cost more than shoddy ones because they are made of leather, and there is nothing like leather. There never has been found anything to substitute for leather. Thinking to save 15 or 25 cents some parents will throw away a dollar. Pay enough to get a good shoe of the kind you want then hold us responsible for the wear. Misses Box Calf and Heavy Glaze Kid school shoes $1.25 and $1.50. Childs of same $1.00 and $1.25. EHKLICH'S, S; | cgujmis, s. c. I* ? Itch cured in 30 minutes oy Woolford's Sanitary Lotion. Oswald. 4wl3 Isn't it funny how the anti-Tillman politicians and newspapers jump on Senator Tillman, no matter what he says or does? Tillman says those negroes who shot up Brownsville, Texas, ought to have been hung instead of simply being dismissed. If a South Carolina United States Senator of the old regime had done the same thing that Tillman has done, these same Tillman haters would be throwing up their hats and hurrahing like so many Commanche Indians.?Laurensville Herald. up % iiiiiE j Years of Ex- j tferienee are I at Y our COMMAND.
