Guise, of near White Rock, a sod of Mr. A. A Guise, died fron an affection of toe heart on Saturday morning, January 14, 1905, in th* 38th year of his age. Mr. Guise wa> a prominent man of bis communi?) and was devoted to his wife apd fiv* children who survive him. He was buried at High Hill cbnrch on Sunday afternoon ii the presence of a large gathering of people. Mrs. Sarah Kleokley died at the residence of Mr. John Hendrix, neai Hebron church, on Friday afternoon at the advanced age of 88 years. Sbt was laid away to rest in the Kteck ley burying ground Sunday morning. Mrs. Kleckley was a kind mother!} soul sharing the burdens of the sfflicted in soul and body. By a skillful piece of dectective work the Sheriff discover ed that the attempt was made b\ Lee Hill, colored, who is under charge of breaking into a store a* PelioD. He further discovered tba? Hill had sawed through two bais in the door of the cage inside of the jail, covering up his work with soap, leaving only one more bar to be out in the corridor of the j il. The saws were concealed in a Cnristmas basket sent by express from his father, Levi Hill, who lives in Atlanta and requisition paper have been issued to the - Governor of Georgia, asking for his surrender to the Sheriff of Lexington county.
