The crder of exercises I for the day will be as follows: t At 10 o'clock a. m. the old soldiers | will form in line of march at the ! south end of Main Rtror-t under the I > ! command of Capt A. P. West, officer \ of the day. The procession will be J I led by one hundred children preceded by a brass band, all of which wiil | move by the direction of Col. M. D Harman commander. The line of | march will ba direct through Main | street to Leesviila College auditorium where the exercises will be held. Address of welcome?Dr. D M Crosson, Mayor cf Leesville, extending the hospitality of the town to the Veterans. Responses by Dr. W. H. Timmerman, on behalf of the committee and Co!. M. D. Harman for the old soldiers. Orators of the day: Col. J. P. Thomas, of Columbia, and Miss Elizabeth Limpkins, the favorite spokeswoman of the South Carolina soldiers. After'dinner Hon. D. C Heyward, Governor of South Carolina, will address the people. At the conclusion of these exercises there will be business sessions of both the Veterans and Sons of Veterans. The exercises cf the day will be rounded up with a champion game of base, ball. The citizens of Leesville extend a hearty invitation to all old soldiers, who will be entertained free of aDy cost whatever.
