Obituary.
Neil IT. Gable, son of Godfrey and
Beulab Gable, was born January 3,
1850, and departed this life May 15,
1901, makiD^ his rejourn on earth
51 years, 1 months and 12 days.
He W88 married to Lizzie Crout,
May 10, 1877. This union was
blessed with seven children, one of
which preceded >Lim to the spirit
land.
He was a member of the Evangelical
Lutheran church.
He leaves a wife, six children, one
grandchild, five brother?, three sisters
and many friends to mourn his

A coroner's inquest on the death of
10-year-old William Black, of Philadelphia.
who recently smoked his first
cigar, has shown that the lad died in
convulsions at a hospital after having
given and emetic which brought to
light the stump of a cigar. The boy recovered

while attempting to smoke for

was handled by the Atlantic Coast Line
Railroad Company recently. In one
week there were refrigerator cars,
making twelve trains, all of which were
