Fallaw and Mrs. W. A. Goodwin. These are all estimable ladies, consecrated christians, devoted wives and loving mothers. They are bearing their afflictions patiently and with Christian fortitude. We hope that under the treatment of Drs. Brooker and Kneece to see them up and out again soon. Miss Dora Craft has returned from a pleasure trip to relatives in Sumter, ' and now another heart is made glad and two beat as one. Mrs. Eiijih Hall, of Mims, is spending a while at Gaston with her parents. We regret to learn of the illness of Milow, the eldest son of Prof. J. Y. Smith. We hope he may soon recover and his joyous prattles and happy smiles continue to make glad the hearts of his devoted and proud parents. Oar entire community was recently shocked by the sudden and unexpected death of our esteemed friend, Mr. L- H. Graft. It was a tfreat blow to the entire community. ? ? His remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at Anticch church in the presence of a large congregation. He was a consecrated church member and a devoted husband and father. He leaves a dear wife, four sons and three daughters to mourn his loss. May heaven's blessings attend them in their bereavement. Billy Felix. April 30, 1904. Lodge cf 2. of P.
