By 5 o'clock the spacious old home of Mr. J. E. Black was filled to its utmost capacity with an expectant throng who bad gathered there from far and near to witness the marriage of two of our most popular people. This marriage was to be at 7 o'clock in the Lutheran church, at Brookland, but was prevented by a hail storm and was changed from a church to a home wedding. The parlor was tastefully decorated for the occasion. Promptly at 8 o'clock the bridal party arrived, and at 8:30 o'clock the couples in attendance entered the parlor in the order named: Mr. Johnnie Craft, of Brookland, with Miss Ida Dominick, of Chapin, and Mr. Willie Koon, of Hilton, with Miss Inez Black, of Priceville. Then came the parties most concerned, Mr. J. E Black, the groom, and Miss Corrie Koon, the bride, who slowly and deliberately marched and took their position in front of Rev. Mr. Spear, who, in the simple solemn service, pronounced them man and wife. The bride wore a gown of white organdie trimmed in lace and ribbon and a lovely wreath of white flowers on her head. The bride's maids were dressed in white organdie trimmed in lace and ribbon. Their dresses were complimented by all that saw them. The bride received a few useful presents. Then next came the most enjoyable part for all. There was a large and delicious supper prepared which was enjoyed by all. The bridal party returned to the parlor afterwards, where there was the sweetest of music. Miss Corrie is a daughter of Mr. Sam Koon, of Chapin, and a sister of the wellknown Rev.
