A Howard, who resides on Factory hii in this place, died last Sunday, aftei paiDfal sufferings. About last Christmas the little fellow met witt a peculiar and painful accident whicl: had its influence in bringing about hii untimely death. While eating pin dara he was unfortunate enough tc so ,ow get a hull lodged in bis wind pipe and which medical skil failed to extract. The little fellow suffered from it from the time the accident occurred up to the timi when death brought relief. Hii mortal remains were taken to Boiling Springs church aDd interred in the cemetery there on Monday, where they now rest from earths suffering and sickness and death, while the glorified spirit was borne on heavenlj piDions to that city on high not made with hands eternal in the heavens. Miss Ella Estelle, the beloved . daughter of J. Weir and C. E. Addv, j 1 departed this life at the home of her | r parents near this place on Saturday, i March 8:b, after suffering some time l with pneumonia. When she was i stricken with the fatal disease, she 3 was teaching school near St. Matth ews church in this county, in which j > capacity she was giving entire satis- ; } faction to the trustees, the patrons i I and the pupils. Her death was a per culiarly sad one in that having just 3 arrived at that period when the 3 fair fields of life presented a pano3 rama of exquisite beauty and refresher ing verdue which were inviting 3 with their rich promises of hap3 pine9S and golden opportunities \ for pleasure and usefulness, unfeeling 3 death intruded its unwelcomed pres^ r ence upon the scene, snapped the frail ) cords which bound her to this fieetiDg and cold world, and removed her from her kindred and friends, her duties and her pleasures.
