The following was adopted by the Swansea church in Conference, April 1st, 1899. "Whereas, God in His inscrutable providence has removed from the toils and trials of life to her brighter home our beloved sister, Mrs. Carrie Dowling, arid whereas we will miss her wise counsels and advice. Resolved 1st, That we bow in humble submission to the providences of Almighty God and that we admonish our church to emulate the virtues of our departed sister. 2nd. That we extend to the bereaved family our heartfelt sympathies 8nd at the same time point them to Him who is the friend indeed to the orphans and who never forsakes them. 3rd. That one page of our minute v book be dedicated to her memory. 4th. That a copy of there resolutioi s be sent the bereaved family and also to The Baptist Courier and The ^ * Lexington Dispatch. Two of Mr. Frognips children were 1 sick with diphtheria, and a number of Dights he and Mrs Frognip were up with them pretty much all night.
