Death of LeBoy Hendrix. Departed this transitory life early Saturday morning, October 10th, 189G. Mr. LeRoy Hendrix, the youngest son of Mr. LeRoy and Mrs. Jane C. Hendrix, in the 40th year of his age, after a long and paiuful illness with that dreaded disease, consumption. Mr. Hendrix bore his suffering with fortitude and patience and looked forward to the time when death would relieve him as one trustiug in the promises of him who invited the weary and heavy burdened to come unto him for rest. He was an upright and honest man, quiet and peaceful in disposition, firm and out spoken in character. In him his friends found a warm and generous supporter and those whom he did not like were given to understand that their room was preferable to their company; there was nothing deceitful about him. Before his death he expressed to his pastor his readiness and willingness to go hence having the utmost confidence in the efficacy of the Savior's blood to wash away his sins, and died with the hope of entering that rest which remaineth for the people of God. She was faithful to all her obligations and duties as a daughter, wife, mother and a follower of the meek and lowly Nazarene, and died in the full assurance of a blessed immortality beyond this vale of tears in the 4-lth year of her age, leaving behind a glorious influence for good and an example worthy of imitation by her giic-f stricken husband, five bereaved children and a large circle of relatives and friends.
