The State cheerfully complies with the request of the Southern Oil Company for space to correct any mis taken impressions conveyed in these columns. To the Editor of The State: On Sunday the oth, your paper published the name of this company and myself as its manager as being the "oil mill" in this State that was violating the fertilizer laws. While I do not believe that your paper would intentionally injure us, the fact remains that it will result in serious injury to us unless it is fullv explained.
