Such people, who predict fail ure iu an enterprise, aro looking for its promoters' feet to slip, and will congratulate themselves upon the fultilmenl'of their evil prophecy. Such people are a menace to success/ und then presence in the world is as hard to explain as the pestiferous gnat or mosquito, or any other annoying creature. As wo think of such people, the wonder grows as 1 we remember that they ure often i looked upon as tho good element of a community, whereas, if their 1 4 ..i 1 1-1 .1 uuo uuaittcicr woru revuBiuu, mey i would present a very hideous spectacle indeed.
