Amzi Sanders, colored, and his wife are quarantined on \Vos1 Black street, both being victims of smallpox. It is not known how they caught this loathsome disease, and it is esteemed as verv peculiar that it should have appeared on both a the same time. Bivius, Headmaster of the Trinity Park High School, was killed suddenly this morning hy falling from a ttain four miles out from Dm ham. The circumstances of his death are distressing in the extreme. The woman wai found alone in the house, and she was dragged about two hundred yards, raped and murdered That the horrtble crime was committed by a wretch in a black skin there is no doubt.
