Mr. Waller McMnnus, vbo shot and killed John Leach, col., near the Blackmon gold mine, on August 10th, last, surrendered to Sheriff Hunter at Kershaw last Wednesday morning and is now in jail at this place. Ho fled immediately after the homicide and says h9 was in Virginia until he returned home this week for the purposo of lgiving himself up to the Sheriff. We understand he ins employed Attorneys E. D.
