Carnes, a respected citizen of the Belair section, fell dead at his home last Thursday morning about 8 o'clock. Ho ate a hearty breakfast that morning and was in bis usual health. Mr. Carnes was about 64 j years of age, an honest, upright f man, and a good citizen. He [ leaves a widow surviving him. j New Enterprises ^ The Lancaster Mercantile Co., ( baa purchased the Poag property ! j on White Street and will operate ^ a ginnery, roller flour mills, j grist mills, coffin factory, machine j and general repair shops. During this season they will operate in the present buildings on the i, site.
