Bishop Surrenders.
Charlotte, N. C., Dec. 14.?
Arthur I. Bishop, traveling salesman
for the F. M. Hoyt Shoo o1
company, of Manchester, who *1'
shot and killed Thomas .J. Wilson
in this city on Decceuiber Oth, ^
surrendered himself in Peters ^
burg, today. The killing
occurred in Wilson's home. Wilson
discovered Bishop with his
daughter and another young woman
in the parlor drinking wine, i
He ordered Bishop to leave. Bishop
refused, whereupon Wilson
tried to eject him. In tho strug- ou
gle Bishop drew a revolver and 90
killed Wilson. Gov. Aycock had a"
offered a leward of $400 for ut
Bishop 's capture.
