It is said that she was infatuated with Adam, and the night following her husbands death asked him to marry her, but her affection was not reciprocated. < >n Sept. 10, after a day's work on a fat nr at Preble, Adam Kiehl went to bed apparently well and was found dead in the morning. Pneumonia was given as tho cause Tho Hidden death of the two brothers was regarded as susj>i eious, and an investigation was made by th*? coroner. Tho body of Adam Iviehl was exhumed and the stomach and other organs sent to tho chemistry department at Cornell university. Prof. It. \1.
