The painting of the nice new church at Unity has been completed, homes have been assigned to ' the forty or fifty odd delegates expected, and everything is now in readiness for the meeting of the First Presbytery of the A. It. P. church with this congregation next Tuesday. The opening sermon will be preached at 10 a. 111., by ltev. J. H. Simpson, the retiring moderator. ltev. E. F. Griffith, of Now Sterling, N. C., will bo the modorator at this session. During the session ltev. J. VV. Simpson, of ltock Hill, a student of theology, is expected to proach his trial sermon. Also that the court room anil all the offices he supplied with chairs and modern office fixtures. We recommend that the court house he recovered and the walls ou the outside he painted. Wo recommend that a sheet iron casing ho put around tho stove that is used in warming the prisoners at the jail for in ease of fire from said stove there would be practicallv no escape for the inmates. Also that the well in the jail yard ho repaired in order to have better drinking water. We iccommend that tho county supervisor and superintendent of education be required to bo at the court house at least two days in each week.
