Police Ollicer .1 R Jenkins says that one of the most pitiable and honid sights he has ever witness ed was Sunday afternoon when ho found Dock Knight, a middle aged white man, and two of his children dead drunk on the outskirts of the city near the C & W C road. One of the boys, it is said, is about twelve years old and the other nine. A'hen found by the policeman the youngest boy was lying across the railroad track in almost a nude condition and paralyzed with drink. The other , boy's clothes were simply a few rags tocked together and ho was, when found, totally unconscious and unable to move. The faiher of the two boys was in such a condition that the oflieer had to have assistance to put him into the wagon.
